Existing antique headboard – wood unknown, likely red oak; wipe-on polyurethane finish

Commissioned by a customer eager to keep this priceless heirloom in the family but wanted to make sure it remained a living, useful piece of furniture. We worked together to reimagine the headboard as a bench, which is now proudly displayed in their son’s house!
