Custom conference tables, built for your room

A conference table is the piece people sit around every week, so it should fit the room, seat the people who use it, and say something about the company. I build them one at a time in Baltimore, in live edge slabs or solid wood boards.

Sizing it to the room

Send me the room size, the number of seats and a photo of the space.

Live edge or solid wood

A live edge top keeps the tree's own edge along both sides, so no two tables are alike. A squared solid wood top reads more formal and suits a boardroom. Either way it is solid wood. A table can also come from a tree of your own.

Power, cables and the base

Cutouts for power and data cables keep the top clear. A good base leaves room for knees and chairs at every seat, so it is worth settling the base and the seating together.

Cost, timing and delivery

Every table is quoted on its own, so there is no price list, and I give you a timeframe with the quote. I am based in Baltimore, and I collect trees and deliver across central Maryland and Washington DC. Further away, a table can go by freight at your cost.

Questions people ask

How much does a custom conference table cost?
Every table is quoted on its own, so there is no price list. Length, the slab or boards, the base and any cutouts for power move the price. Tell me the room and the seating and I will give you a number.
How big should a conference table be?
Allow about 24 to 30 inches of table edge for each person, and leave roughly 3 to 4 feet between the table and the walls so chairs can move. Send me the room size and how many people need a seat.
Can you add cable cutouts?
Yes. Cable cutouts can be built into the top, like the ones on the table in the photograph. Tell me what needs to plug in and where.
Live edge or straight edge?
Live edge keeps the tree's own edge along the sides and suits a room that wants character. A straight, squared edge reads more formal. Both are solid wood.
How do you get a big table into the building?
I am based in Baltimore, and I collect trees and deliver across central Maryland and Washington DC, and further by freight at your cost. A big top has to get through stairs, elevators and doors, so tell me about the route in.
